Obama Goes 2 for 22 on Court at Easter Egg Roll

by Andrew Johnson

President Obama must have caught whatever caused Marquette to go cold against Syracuse when he attend the Elite Eight game over the weekend. In front of a crowd of kids, NBA players, and White House reporters, he went a dismal two for 22 on the basketball court this morning at the White House Easter Egg Roll, missing his first 14 shots. As he walked off the court, he handed the ball off to a 10 year-old, who promptly sunk his first shot.

Lawmakers and reporters reacted on Twitter:

White House press secretary Jay Carney was quick to provide an explanation for the president’s lackluster performance: he doesn’t have enough time to practice.
