I too discussed the issue of Gosnell. And I tied it into the advocacy of Princeton’s Peter Singer. What Gosnell did — absent the sanitation and body trophy issues — isn’t much different than what Singer and many other bioethicists assert is perfectly ethical. Indeed, many bioethicists claim that killing infants born after full gestation is perfectly fine if it serves the interests of the family.
