Why Jindal’s Struggling in Louisiana

For Louisiana governor Bobby Jindal, his failure to suceed in eliminating the Bayou State’s income tax was just the latest of his troubles. Although Jindal’s gained increasing prominence as a national Republican voice, he has plenty of critics at home. On the right, there’s criticism of fiscal record; on the left, there’s criticism of his education reform, and from both sides, there’s frustration at how much he’s been out of state, as I document in my piece on the homepage today.
