Kristol: ‘I’m More Skeptical’ about Immigration Reform Than I Was Before

by Andrew Johnson

Following last week’s Boston Marathon bombing, Bill Kristol told the rest of the Fox News Sunday panel that he now has more doubts about the wisdom of immigration reform than he did before those events. “I’m more skeptical of it now than I was six or seven months ago,” Kristol said.

“Let’s begin by asking how this man, who had been reported to the FBI in 2011, went abroad for six or seven months, came back into the country, [with] I guess a Russian or Kyrgyz passport, and [had] no problem at all?” he wondered. ”Someone should look at that, and look at border security, before we move ahead with an 880-page immigration bill.”
