Sebelius: Obamacare Offers Graduates ‘Peace of Mind’

by Ian Tuttle

Health and Human Services secretary Kathleen Sebelius says that, among the many benefits of Obamacare is “peace of mind” for college graduates. She made the claim in an open letter published in late May assuring graduates that they need not worry about health insurance, thanks to the Affordable Care Act.

Because Obamacare covers “proven preventative services — like birth control,” and bars insurers from denying coverage “because of a pre-existing condition, like . . . acne,” she writes, “you’ll be able to begin this next chapter of your life with the peace of mind and security health insurance provides.”

And, honestly, who would not sleep easily knowing that the IRS is in charge of their medical needs?
