The Corner

The one and only.

Rachel Abrams, R.I.P.

Text

She was a dear daughter, wife, sister, mother, and friend to friends and NR family through the years. She was a lover of life, family, country, and freedom; a talent herself and great nurturer of and support for it. Her brother, John, marks her passing after a long fight with cancer here. Bill Kristol pays tribute here. Her husband, Elliott, has been a devoted caretaker, frequently writing only after making sure Rachel was comfortable; a man who knows his priority and his heart.  Theirs was a great love, in a family with a lot of it. Our condolences and prayers for her family — so many friends — who have lost their irreplaceable Rachel.
