Krauthammer’s Take: Obama’s Berlin Speech Addressed ‘Least Important Issue on the Planet’

Text

Charles Krauthammer called President Obama “continually amazing” for advocating nuclear arms reduction in the United States and Russia in the midst of worldwide crises.

Krauthammer stated that President Obama’s June 19th speech in Berlin addressed the “least important issue on the planet.”  ”There is zero chance of nuclear war between the United States and Russia,” he remarked, so the idea that a one-third reduction would make Americans safer is “absurd.”

The president has been “obsessed” with nuclear weapons reduction “ever since he was a student at Columbia,” the Fox News contributor argued, and this latest effort is not only “useless but dangerous” as Iran goes nuclear.

Krauthammer explained that because Obama’s attempted “reset” with Russia was a “disaster,” this campaign for nuclear arms reduction is “all he’s got” to “distract the world” from his poor foreign policy record.
