On Massachusetts and Miracles

I know numbers matter in the Senate, but I confess that I have no interest in whether or not Charlie Rose Ed Markey or Gabriel Gomez wins the race to replace John Kerry.

Markey, of course, is going to win. Although Gomez last night was so cocky about his prospects as to say not only does he not need a miracle to win, but that he does not believe in miracles, period.

It’s not my pinstriped/Red Sox loyalty talking to insist that Cardinal Dolan, clearly believing in miracles, has the healthier approach.
