Who Will Be to Blame for the Train Wreck?

by Mark Krikorian

Senator Sessions made a reference on the floor to passing a bill they could be proud of rather than be embarrassed about. That got me thinking about 2014 and 2016. That’s when the disastrous fraud and bureaucratic fustercluck that would result from the Senate bill, if it were to pass, would emerge in a big way. Despite the administration’s best efforts to cover up the many outrages that are guaranteed to take place, they won’t succeed — news will travel at a speed that was impossible in 1986. Likewise, the MSM no longer have the ability to squelch such stories, and they will become the subject of innumerable campaign ads: “Why did Lamar Alexander vote to rubber-stamp the amnesty applications of criminals and terrorists?”
