Representative Michael McCaul of Texas, the chairman of the Homeland Security Committee, told CBS News on Sunday that the lower chamber won’t rush to pass the Senate’s immigration bill. “In the House, we’re going to do our own thing,” he said. “We’ll pass our bills [with] regular order. . . . I have some concerns about the border-security piece in the Senate bill. It was hatched at the last minute to get votes.”
