President Acknowledges Obamacare ‘Glitches’

Text

Speaking at the White House today, President Obama conceded problems with the Affordable Care Act’s implementation, which he referred to as “glitches,” and blamed their existence on the size of the country and health-care industry.

“This is a big country, and the health care industry is massive, and there are tons of providers, and so as we implement there are going to be glitches,” he said. Additionally, the president predicted that there would be “certain states” that would resist the act’s implementatoin for “political reasons.”

However, the president said that those in charge of implementation are “steadily working through all that stuff.”
