MSNBC’s Schultz Calls for Race-Relations Classes In All U.S. Schools, 95 Percent of Viewers Agree

On Saturday, MSNBC host Ed Schultz polled his viewers on whether or not there ought to be a race-relations class in every American school.

“Now I’m going to vote yes on this,” Schultz said of the interactive survey.

Schultz said he believes that race relations ”has to be part of our public-school discussion, that confrontation is not an option. That we need to love one another. And that loving your neighbor is what the Almighty wanted us to do.”

“Now if you’re not faith-based, at least you can respect the human rights of someone else. So we can find common ground throughout this entire conversation,” Schultz said.

Later in the program, Schultz revealed the survey’s results: 95 percent of survey respondents agreed with the idea, while 5 percent who disagreed.
