It is unbelievably stupid for John Kerry to be promising a strike that is “unbelievably small.” It is unbelievably unconvincing to hint at plans for a wider war while loudly disavowing them. It is unbelievably self-defeating to madly thrust a pin into the side of a lion and portray it a test of the American public’s resolve. It is unbelievably embarrassing to have an American Secretary of State plead for support by telegraphing uselessness. It is unbelievably sad that we have gotten to this point.
