Woodward: Obama’s ‘Out There Alone’ on Syria Intervention

by Andrew Johnson

Longtime Washington Post reporter Bob Woodward criticized President Obama’s “ad hoc” plan for military intervention in Syria and said the president has lost many of his usual supporters’ confidence over this issue.

“There’s no plan, unfortunately,” Woodward said on Morning Joe this morning. “In strategic thinking, you need to say, ‘Where do I want to be in a month?’ and then step your way toward that with very coherent messages.”

“He’s out there alone,” he added.
