Anthony Weiner Almost Didn’t Vote Today

Text

Anthony Weiner was almost unable to vote for himself today in the Democratic primary for New York City mayor.

Weiner, accompanied by his son, Jordan, arrived at his Manhattan polling place to discover that his signature was not in the poll book — an administrative error, according to Board of Elections spokeswoman Valerie Vazquez. It was, however, on record with the Board, and employees ordered poll workers to allow Weiner to vote.

Weiner, who has attracted no small amount of negative media attention for his online dalliances, joked that his signature’s absence was because he was “not very well known.”
