Benghazi Victim’s Mother: ‘Why Isn’t Hillary Out Here?’
The mother of Sean Smith, one of the four Americans killed in Benghazi last year, demanded members of Congress call Hillary Clinton for questioning about the terrorist attack that left her son dead on September 11, 2012.
“I love my country, but I sure don’t like my government,” Patti Smith told the House Oversight committee on Thursday. “If these people are involved in it, why don’t you get them out here to tell us their story? Why isn’t Hillary out here us — it was her department!”
In emotional testimony, Smith’s frustration was clearly visible. “Why can’t somebody call her, get her out here, put her under oath, and say, ‘What did you know,’ and hope she’ll tell the truth?” she concluded.
