Rick Perry will soon be back on the airwaves. The Republican governor of Texas, who has irked plenty of blue-state officials with ads promoting the Lone Star State, will appear in a series of radio and television ads meant to promote his fellow GOP state executives by constrasting their accomplishments with the politics in Washington, D.C.
The ads, a six-figure, ten-day campaign by the conservative 501(c)4 Americans for Economic Freedom, begin running tomorrow on Fox News, MSNBC, CNBC, and a plethora of nationally syndicated radio shows. Perry declares that President Obama is “playing politics” and boasts that conservative leadership in the states “is putting people back to work, and families are building their futures.”
“We need more of that and less of Washington,” he says.
