Touré Selectively Edits Ryan Lizza’s Tweets about Getting onto Obamacare Site

Obama cheerleader and Cycle host Touré tried to make the case that the online Obamacare exchanges were improving after two weeks of dysfunction by using a tweet from The New Yorker’s Ryan Lizza, who has been critical of the websites, that announced he was finally able to successfully use the site.

One problem: Touré left out Lizza’s follow-up tweets that the website still actually wasn’t working for him, which came only minutes later.

While it appears Lizza may have initially spoken too soon, anyone visiting his Twitter timeline would have clearly noticed the updates to his yet-again failed attempt. Lizza’s tweets were at around 12:50 p.m. EST, a few hours before the MSNBC segment ran at about 3:20 p.m., giving Touré and the Cycle plenty of time to make the necessary adjustments.

UPDATE: Lizza just discussed his failed attempt on CNN.
