Representative Darrell Issa argued this morning that HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius should face the possibility of termination and has done unacceptably poor work on the president’s signature legislation. ”If she cannot reorganize to get the team in to meet his agenda, then she shouldn’t be there,” he said.
“They had unlimited money, $600 million to implement just to do this part, and billions to do the other part — the president has been poorly served in the implementation of his own signature legistlation,” Issa said. “So if somebody doesn’t leave and if there isn’t a real restructing . . . then he’s missing the point of Management 101, which is the people are supposed to serve him well, and they haven’t.”
