The launch is only a small part of the problems facing the Affordable Care Act, Senator Joe Manchin (D., W.Va.) admitted on Morning Joe.
“They have more than a rollout problem — there is a product problem,” Manchin said on Thursday morning. “We have to make sure the products are there and the market will determine that product.”
Manchin is supportive of fellow red-state Democratic senator Mary Landrieu of Louisiana’s bill that would aim to allow people to keep their health-care plans that were canceled under Obamacare. As one of the more conservative members of the Democratic caucus, Manchin has supported a handful of changes to the law, including delaying the individual mandate.
