Senate Staffers Unable to Access D.C. Exchange

by Andrew Stiles

Senate staffers trying to sign up for the D.C. health-care exchange before the December 9 deadline were unable to access the exchange website on Thursday, learning via mass e-mail that “At this time DC Health Link is experiencing technical difficulties with their website.”

The DC Health Link website says it is “currently undergoing scheduled maintenance and upgrades,” and provides a phone number for those in need of immeadiate [sic] assistance.”

Meanwhile, Senate majority leader Harry Reid (D., Nev.) has exempted his staffers from signing up for the Obamacare exchange, making him the only congressional leader to do so.
