Christie Booed at Super-Bowl Event

by Andrew Johnson

Still hounded by allegations against his administration, Chris Christie received a rather harsh welcome from the New York City crowd on the eve of Sunday’s Super Bowl. The New Jersey governor, whose state was hosting the big game, was heckled at a hand-off ceremony for next year’s game in Arizona.

The jeers came just a day after the New York Times reported that former Port Authority official David Wildstein, who was fired following revelations of the George Washington Bridge closing, said that “evidence exists” that Christie knew about the lane closures.
