Biden: ‘No Obvious Reason’ Not to Run in 2016
While some have already dubbed Hillary Clinton the de facto Democratic presidential nominee in 2016, Joe Biden can’t see any reason why he shouldn’t also join the race. In fact, he thinks he may be the most qualified to do so.
“There may be reasons I don’t run, but there’s no obvious reason for me why I think I should not run,” the vice president told CNN. He said he expects he will make his decision sometime during the summer of 2015.
“It doesn’t mean I’m the only guy that can do it, but if no one I think can, and I think I can, then I’d run,” Biden continued. “If I don’t, I won’t.”
