Mont. House Candidate Shoots Down Drone in New Ad

by Andrew Johnson

Matt Rosendale doesn’t want drones monitoring him or his fellow Montanans, and he’s issuing a warning in a new a campaign ad.

In the ad, which opens from the point of view of a drone zeroing in on the Republican candidate for the state’s at-large seat, Rosendale shoots down the unmanned vehicle.

“The federal government is too big and too powerful,” he said. “Spying on our citizens — that’s just wrong.”

Rosendale currently serves in the Montana House of Representatives and is running against four other Republican candidates in the June primary for the nomination.
