Four Killed, 35 Wounded in Chicago Gun Violence over the Weekend

Gun violence across Chicago claimed nearly 40 victims over the weekend and leaving four dead in its wake.

The victims of the fatal shootings are 17-year-old Jaquez Williams, 21-year-olds Martarvian Emery and Cindy Bahena, and 32-year-old Leonore Draper.

The Chicago Sun-Times reports that Draper was killed about an hour after she had returned from an anti-gun-violence event.

At least 35 others have been wounded since Friday night, according to the Times.
