15 Shot in Chicago in Twelve-Hour Span

At least 15 people across Chicago were wounded in shootings since Thursday evening, according to reports.

The string of shootings began at about 5:15 p.m. on Thursday when a 56-year-old woman was shot in the foot while on her porch. The Chicago Tribune reports that the most recent came at about 4:10 a.m. on Friday when a 25-year-old man was shot in the hand.

The victims ranged in age from a 16-year-old boy to a 67-year-old woman. In at least two of the shootings, multiple people were shot from a passing car. For a complete description of the shootings, read more here.
