Feinstein on Benghazi Committee: ‘It’s a Hunting Mission for a Lynch Mob’

Senator Dianne Feinstein (D., Calif.) thinks the House select committee on Benghazi is “ridiculous.”

“I think it’s a hunting mission for a lynch mob,” she told CNN’s Candy Crowley on State of the Union Sunday.

Feinstein, the chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, compared the attack in Benghazi to the bombing of the Marine barracks in Beirut under Ronald Reagan, saying “Reagan admitted we weren’t ready for it.”

Asked if she felt that all the questions had been answered about Benghazi, Feinstein responded: “I believe they have.”
