Amity Shlaes Single-Handedly Takes on MSNBC Panel


Conservative columnist and author Amity Shlaes pushed back against three or so liberal pundits today in a debate over whether financial stimulus is an effective method for helping recover a struggling economy (Shlaes’s view being one Republican host Abby Huntsman noted is “not an argument we often hear at MSNBC”).

Discussing the upcoming graphic-novel version of her 2007 book The Forgotten Man, she debunked many of the economic myths stemming about Franklin D. Roosevelt’s New Deal–era policies.
