A Conservative Celebrates the 1964 Civil Rights Act

It’s being widely noted that today is the 50th anniversary of the signing of the 1964 Civil Rights Act. Here’s my discussion of why “the approach taken in the bill was a conservative one, that it ought to be updated to strengthen and clarify that essentially conservative approach, and that it is the Left that has strayed from the Act’s principles and that now wants to repudiate them.”
