‘Serves Them Right’ Graffitied on Holocaust Memorial in France

by Molly Wharton

A photo posted by the Everyday Antisemitism Project, an online blog, shows graffiti on a memorial in France for Jewish children sent to the gas chambers during the Holocaust. “Bien faits pour eux,” the graffiti reads, which translates to “Serves them right.”

The Everyday Antisemitism project invites Jews to “share their everyday experiences of anti-Semitism to remind people that this *is* a real problem and needs to be addressed urgently.”
