Election ’02 Flash The Red and The Blue


It’s interesting that while this was a red-state election in the Senate, both in the sense that the races were disproportionately in red states and it appears to have mattered, it was in dark blue states that the GOP’s gubernatorial wing showed surprising strength: Vermont, Massachusetts, Maryland, Rhode Island, and maybe Hawaii.
