Australia’s Dr. Death

Text

Re Wesley Smith’s piece today on Dr. Philip Nitschke, Australia’s answer to Dr. Kevorkian: It seems to me that from a libertarian point of view, Dr. Nitschke’s position is unassailable. If I want to kill myself, why shouldn’t I? And if I want to market a pill, available on supermarket shelves, and whose effects are clearly marked, to offer unhappy people a painless exit, why should I not do that? How, exactly, do libertarians approach this issue? I ask in a spirit of sincere inquiry–I really want to hear.
