On Not Calling It Battle of Baghdad

Just a guess, but I don’t think we’ll ever officially–CENTCOM, or the Pentagon anyway–call anything the battle of Baghdad. In truth, the battle over the capital has been a roll out, beginning with bombings and ending at some point when we install an interim government. We could have never gone in without the shock and awe and othe other bombings. I think we should go ahead and call it that. Really, it is.
