Democrat obstructionism has not deterred President Bush from nominating principled conservative legal stars to the federal bench. For instance, today Bush nominated Alabama Attorney General William Pryor to the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals. Pryor’s long record of public service, and extensive paper trail, all but ensures a protracted fight over his nomination — some are attacking him already — but it is a fight worth having.
