A Un War?

The normally astute Jim VandeHei blunders in this story about Wesley Clark: “Clark, a decorated Vietnam veteran who commanded the U.N. war in Kosovo, said: ‘I’m saying that I’m not going to be the vice president, I’m not going to accept that nomination. I can’t make it any more clear than that.’”

The Kosovo war wasn’t a “U.N. war” (and Milosevic wasn’t an imminent threat either), but Dean (and Clark and Kerry and almost everyone else in the Democratic Party) had no problem with it.
