Changing of The Guard At La Raza


The New York Times reports today that Raul Yzaguirre is stepping down as head of the National Council of La Raza, one of the older and more influential Hispanic organizations. He will be replaced by Janet Murguia, “the organization’s executive director, who was a deputy manager of the Gore-Lieberman campaign in 2000.” Ugh.
