Re: Aid to The Stricken


In fact, there is a strong argument AGAINST govt. assistance to disasters
like this: It must to some degree diminish private charity. If my govt. is
giving umpteen million dollars, there seems less point in my bothering with
a hundred.

The more I think about it, the more I am against govt. aid to stricken
places abroad.
