Their IA2000 convention in New Orleans kicks off a week from Friday, and the first seminar is called "Adult Community Meeting: Vote Democratic!" A description of the event, from the group's website: "Join respected attorney Paul Cambria for a special 'Adult Community Meeting' to address concerns over the upcoming Presidential election. A Republican or other conservative President and Congress could greatly hinder the success and growth of the adult Internet industry. Don't underestimate the ramifications of right wing government on your e-business or your power as a webmaster. As an individual who does business with hundreds even thousands of people on the World Wide Web, you can make a difference. Come together with other webmasters and industry leaders and learn what you can do to safeguard the future of the adult Internet industry." No word yet on whether Gore will swing by to thank the group for its support.
Hitting the Big Time Good idea. Maybe in his debate with Lieberman, Cheney should say, "Gore's a liberal. Big time." What should the theme music at Cheney's rallies be? Peter Gabriel's "Big Time," of course. . . . Speaking of the b-word, are Al Gore and Joe Lieberman now going to add "Big Hollywood" and the "Big Media" to their list of bad guys? |
