Ban on Homemade Goods



The public schools of Easton, Massachusetts are considering a ban on homemade treats for birthdays and other special events as part of a Bloomberg-esque campaign to fight childhood obesity. School board member Lori Han claims that kids “can celebrate a birthday without a cupcake.” Furthermore, schools will provide a list of “safe” foods, including fruits and cereals, for such special events.
