TROUBLE IN THE BLUE STATES FOR KERRY?
I hear through the grapevine that Mason-Dixon's polls of Blue states, supposed to be released sometime today, show ominous news for Kerry. Lots of states tied, or Kerry only up by a point.
UPDATE: As you'll recall, Mason-Dixon had the best rate of success in the 2002 elections. They polled in 23 races. Their average rate of error on each candidate was 1.8 percent, and stunningly, they only projected the wrong winner in one race. (22 of 23? Dang. M-D ate their Wheaties those mornings.)
UPDATE: Well, the numbers are circulating among the blogs, but there's still no official release from Mason-Dixon. So read these with even more caution than usual.
Pennsylvania: Kerry 46, Bush 45
Oregon: Kerry 46, Bush 45
Iowa: Bush 49, Kerry 43 (!!!)
Wisconsin: Bush 45, Kerry 45
New Mexico: Bush 49, Kerry 44 (!!!)
Michigan: Kerry 47, Bush 46
Minnesota: Bush 47, Kerry 45
All Polls 625 LVs - Oct 15-18th
