BUSHIES THINK THEY KEEP NEW HAMPSHIRE
Word from a guy doing consulting in New Hampshire:
Spoke w/ his people in NH. They think they're going to win. Bush surprisingly won 2 wards in heavily Democratic Manchester, and one in Nashua. Their vote total was much higher than expected in traditionally Democratic places, and the late returns in NH usually come from heavily GOP areas
UPDATE: Kerry Spot reader Ken adds, "Towns like Derry, Londonderry, Salem and Pelham are all basically "Boston North". North of Manchester (with the exception of the capital of Concord and college towns like Lebanon and Hanover) is solid Red with the occasional Blue. If it is true that most of the southern returns are in, with the north country still filing returns, then I think N.H. squeaks by with red."
