Saved from the Fire

From a reader:

Jonah, I bought the book yesterday at Barnes and Noble in Naples Florida.  It was displayed on a table right as you came in the front door.  There were five copies in a short stack with other best sellers.  It was 30% off the list price.  But being merchandised right at the front door is still pretty good.    When the clerk who was ringing up my purchase saw what I was buying I detected a slight smirk of disapproval pass across her face.  When she looked up at me I gave her a great big knowing smile and said; “I sure appreciate Y’all not burning this book before I could buy it.”  I wish you could have seen the look on her face.
