A. Capano has been the Publisher of National Review magazine since
1991, and was Associate Publisher of the magazine for 13 years. He is
a member of the Board of Directors of National Review, the U.S.
English Foundation, and the Ashbrook Institute. He is co-founder, vice
president, and treasurer of the Human Life Foundation and the National
Committee of Catholic Laymen. He is also the former publisher of The
Human Life Review.
Capano writes, lectures, and participates in seminars on all aspects of
the publishing field. He received a B.A. in English from St. John’s
University.
Capano was born in Brooklyn, New York, and is married to the former Margaret
Ann Gallagher. His four children are Kathleen, Christopher, John Emmett,
and Elizabeth.
