1982
graduate of The College of the Holy Cross, Jack Fowler is National
Review's Associate Publisher and unofficial "Cruise Director." He
joined the magazine in 1990, working out of the Washington office as the
Congressional Reporter. He had previously worked as a lobbyist on Catholic
and social issues, and has written for The American Spectator,
The Cortlandt Forum, The Human Life Review, and The National
Catholic Register. Along with his wife Sharon and five children, Fowler
lives in Milford, Conn., where he serves as the Majority Leader of the
Board of Aldermen (thereby earning the distinction of being the only National
Review staff member ever to win elective office!). He also performs
one of the most important jobs in Christendom running the parish
Bingo.
