Here’s how Wired headlines the election:

Propelled by Internet, Barack Obama Wins Presidency

That is funny, in a monomaniacal way. There’s an old joke about how the big dailies would headline the Apocalypse. Wall Street Journal: “World Ends, DJIA Hits Zero”; New York Times: “World Ends, Third World Nations Hit Hardest”; USA Today: “World Ends. SPORTS, Section D!” And we can now add that Wired would play it: “Internet Is Down.”
