. . .and that sarcasm was lost on the MSNBC host, as well as his followers (scroll down on my Twitter feed):
Maybe it wasn’t obvious to all, but what I was getting at is, if Chris Matthews, et al. can call any Republican a racist for questioning Susan Rice, then that same standard should apply to all MSNBC hosts, including Touré, whom I called a racist and homophobic for tweeting about disgraced Elmo puppeteer Kevin Clash. To Matthews-ize the analysis: “Behind Elmo is no doubt code for gay sex.”
And MSNBC is just so hypocritical. Dana Milbank and Maureen Dowd wrote scathing pieces on Rice, yet they’re somehow not racist, but we are? The same folks who cheered Condi Rice at the RNC convention just a few short months ago?
So, until Matthews and his clown-car of pundits apologize for this rhetoric, I’ll continue to use the same standard on race, etc. as they do.
Oh, and by the way, Lawrence O’Donnell is a dirty racist, too, for calling black Allen West “batcrapcrazy.”
