Someone Should Notify Fodor’s...

Iran’s Press TV has an article up highlighting Iran’s latest technological breakthrough:

Iran’s Kish Island has launched the largest glass-bottom boat in the Middle East to illustrate the beauty of its undersea environment.

With a length of over 5 meters and a width of 3.6 meters, the boat contains enough space for roughly 35 passengers. This fiberglass vessel allows tourists to view out the glass bottom and observe the underwater environment from within the boat.

Measuring up to the latest standards in the ship manufacturing industry, the vessel has been domestically designed and produced by Iranian engineers. It is equipped with an advanced air conditioning system and top-of-the-line safety equipment.

Over 300,000 dollars has been spent on manufacturing the boat, which will carry out 6 undersea tours per day.

And it floats, too!
