Wash. Post And CBS To Team Up In 2008

Text

Not looking to miss out on a scoop like Dan Rather’s cracker-jack reporting of President Bush’s National Guard service in 2004, the Washington Post is teaming up with CBS on 2008 campaign coverage:

NEW YORK CBS News and The Washington Post will share web content from coverage of the 2008 presidential campaign, the Post announced today.

In a statement, the paper’s Web site, washingtonpost.com, said “the news organizations, both known for their rich political reporting, will leverage the best of their campaign coverage to take readers deep inside the race for the White House.

“Washingtonpost.com will feature the most compelling video coverage from CBS News correspondents, producers and off-air reporters while news, analysis and commentary from the Washington Post’s renowned political reporters and columnists will appear on CBSNews.com. Each site will promote the partnership by linking to the other’s political coverage.”
