Citing the Pointless


Another Attempt highlights a particularly bad story in the Washington Post about Bush’s Wednesday speech to the Council on Foreign Relations:

I was perusing Google News before heading to bed and found something I couldn’t leave alone. At the top of the U.S. section was this Washington Post story. Headline: In Cities Bush Cited, Progress Is Relative. Robin and Saad take just about every piece of good news in Iraq and offer their spin on it. This is shameless and unabashadly biased. Take for instance this:
Bush also pointed out that more than half of the voters in Nineveh, of which Mosul is the capital, voted in the October referendum for the constitution
