Army Times is reporting, tomorrow, the U.S. House will vote on a resolution declaring March 25 as National Medal of Honor Day. The Senate approved a similar version two-weeks ago designating March 25, 2007 as National Medal of Honor Day. The House version, which is expected to pass with no opposition, would set aside March 25 as National MOH Day “in perpetuity.”
The date coincides with the date in 1863, during the Civil War, the MOH was first awarded. More here.
